“We’re going to have to find our own way out.” Scary! Altitude Films from the UK has revealed the first official trailer for a crazy survival thriller movie called No Way Up, made by a Swiss action director named Claudio Fäh. It’s expected to arrive in early 2024, with no US release date confirmed so far. No Way Up is a high concept combination of disaster movie and survival thriller. It’s not just about a horrifying plane crash, it’s about what would happen if a plane crashed into the ocean and somehow people onboard survived in an air pocket as it sunk to the bottom. How insanely scary is that?! The ensemble cast includes Colm Meaney, Phyllis Logan, Sophie McIntosh, Will Attenborough, and Jeremias Amoore. Even though they’ve revealed a trailer, still no info on when this will be available to watch – hopefully we’ll know more soon. Because this looks terrifying enough to make me curious to watch it. A plane crash AND sharks?! Holy sh&!.
Here’s the first official trailer (+ poster) for Claudio Fäh’s No Way Up, direct from YouTube:
Characters from very different backgrounds are thrown together when the airplane they’re travelling on crashes into the Pacific Ocean. The stricken airliner then comes to rest perilously close to the edge of a bottomless ravine with the surviving passengers and crew trapped in an air pocket. With their air supply rapidly running out, a nightmare fight for survival ensues as dangers from all sides hone-in on them. No Way Up is directed by Swiss VFX producer / filmmaker Claudio Fäh, director of Coronado, Hollow Man II, Panther Command, The Guardians, Sniper: Reloaded, Northmen: A Viking Saga, Beyond Valkyrie, Sniper: Ultimate Kill previously, and the “Wilder” TV series most recently. previously. The screenplay is written by Andy Mayson (executive producer of SAS: Red Notice, Great White, The Last Sentinel). Produced by Will Clarke, Molly Conners, Annalise Davis, Andy Mayson, and Mike Runagall. Altitude Films will debut No Way Up in UK cinemas sometime soon. No US release date has been set either – stay tuned. Thoughts?
