“When Mother Nature speaks – listen.” Max has posted the trailer for a documentary series called Violent Earth with Liev Schreiber, an “in-depth examination into our natural world and its changing climate.” This originally debuted on CNN a few months ago and is now on Max for everyone else to watch streaming at home. Violent Earth with Liev Schreiber explores the unbelievable science behind epic natural disasters. Featuring incredible footage & interviews with scientists, storm chasers, survivors, this series examines our changing climate. Each episode of Violent Earth combines heart pounding videos and shots of epic natural events like tornado, tsunami, wildfire, volcano, and hurricane(s) with first hand accounts of survivors who experienced these powerful disasters. Schreiber described Violent Earth as a “cautionary tale” about the increased frequency of violent storms, but he sees reason for hope in our growing understanding of them. “We are actually making a difference. Things are going a lot better in terms of our awareness and the steps we’re taking, but there’s still a long way to go… I think it’s important that we try to remain optimistic about these things and believe that we can affect change.” Let’s hope he’s right. Because it’s seriously looking bad.
Here’s the final official trailer for CNN & Max’s doc series Violent Earth, direct from Max’s YouTube:
