“I felt like I was giving more and more of myself away… To the point where you are not somebody you recognize.” Netflix has unveiled an official trailer for their upcoming music biopic doc series called Robbie Williams, which is clearly all about Robbie Williams. We posted the teaser trailer just a few weeks ago. Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of his solo career, this is the definitive 4-part documentary series on the most successful UK solo artist of all time, spanning his entire music career. Featuring hundreds of hours of intimate, never-before-seen personal archive spanning 30 years, exclusive access to Robbie and helmed by an acclaimed filmmaking team including Asif Kapadia as an EP; this culture-defining series is the first of its kind to explore the real human being behind the salacious headlines. His discography includes seven UK No. 1 singles, and all but one of his 14 studio albums have reached No. 1 in the UK. Though not in the US. Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the UK, with 2 of them in the top 60. This looks like an all-encompassing doc exploring every facet of who he is and his success in music. Check it out.
